Welcome to Hope, ND!

Hope is located about 70 miles northwest of Fargo in the southwest corner of Steele County, and has a population of about 300. There is a K-12 school, several manufacturing plants, housing developments, and many tourist attractions including the Steele County Museum, and the Hope Golf Course.

Hope Development Corporation

The HDC meets the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. Meetings are held at the City Hall.

Hope Housing Incentives

The City Hall is located on Steele Avenue. City Council meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 7 a.m. The number to the Hope City Hall is (701) 945-2772.

The business is now located in the new facility across from Dakota Heritage Bank. A Grand Opening celebration will be held after the New Year

Hope Development Corporation - Business incubator building being constructed

The HDC has received funding from USDA Rural Development, Griggs-Steele Empowerment Zone, and the Steele County JDA to construct a business incubator building. The building will be located in the Hope Industrial Park. Follow the construction progress on the "Economic Development" page.
