Hope is located about 70 miles northwest of Fargo in the southwest corner of Steele County, and it has a population of about 300. There is a K-12 school, several manufacturing plants, new housing developments, and tourists visiting the Steele County Museum, playing golf, and enjoying the recreation activities on the Sheyenne River.

   

 

 

The City Hall is located on Steele Avenue. City Council meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 7 a.m. The number to the Hope City Hall is (701) 945-2772.
